Your efforts to learn the “workings” of our Society and implement them into the planning and organizing of the meeting were most appreciated. Your friendly and accommodating attitude toward our Fellows was not unnoticed. You ran this meeting as “one of us” rather than as an outside firm just doing a job. Each and every need of every individual was met with empathy and follow-through.

Dapaanz, the Addiction Practitioners’ Association, Aotearoa-New Zealand Inc, has contracted Convention Management New Zealand to manage its annual conference for each of the last six years.

Involving between 350 and 420 delegates in bi-cultural, multi-cultural and multi-professional settings and in venues throughout the country, CMNZ has assisted with planning, managed registration, managed venue and equipment requirements, produced conference documents, managed the conference website, organised speakers travel and accommodation, managed the conference itself and conducted the post-conference evaluation.

That we have contracted CMNZ for six conferences is testimony to the positive relationship and confidence that we will have a successfully managed conference. CMNZ has always delivered to a high standard and delegate feedback is that they have found the CMNZ staff helpful, professional and interested.

As the person who carries the responsibility for these conferences I have had a pleasant and respectful relationship with CMNZ staff, finding them always prepared to help to make the events as successful as they can be. They bring a sense of fun and a can-do attitude which brightens the task of putting on a conference. They take the daily tasks and stresses away from me allowing me to concentrate on the delegates and speakers. In the previous 14 years, with other conference organisers I found that I was expected to be making decisions about conference problems and fighting those fires that can flare up from time to time. With CMNZ I was not burdened at all with such expectations. They simply sorted it out.

I have no hesitation in recommending CMNZ.

Once again, an amazing performance from Dean, Lu and the team at Convention Management New Zealand organising the Craftology Brewers Guild of New Zealand Awards Dinner 2014.

A huge logistical effort for this event, and they're calm as snow throughout. Exceptional job. You're amazing.

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for your company Convention Management New Zealand (CMNZ). CMNZ was hired by the Australasian Society of Immunology to organise and run their 43rd annual meeting. I was the Convenor of this meeting and thus worked very closely with CMNZ from mid 2010 until the meting in December 2013. This international scientific conference was held at the Michael Fowler Centre, had a budget of over $400,000 and was attended by over 400 delegates.

The conference was considered one of the best annual meetings the society has held, ran without a glitch and made a significant profit for the society. Without a doubt, all of these measures of success can be attributed to the excellent services, advice and management provided by CMNZ.

Additionally I am grateful to CMNZ for being very patient and accommodating with my inexperience and endless questions. I enjoyed working with CMNZ very much and would not hesitate to work with you in the future for any other conferences with which I become involved. Thus I highly recommend your services to other organisations requiring conference management.

TROG Cancer Research held our ASM in Wellington, New Zealand from the 26th February - 1st March 2013. We used the services of Convention Management New Zealand Ltd for the co-ordination of our scientific meeting.

Dean Bradley and his team provided a comprehensive service from our initial meeting continuing through to the follow up from the meeting.

The service is exceptional and they are a high calibre team and a pleasure to deal with. They were organised and delivered us an exceptional ASM. The feedback from our delegates has been extremely positive.

We would use the services of Convention Management New Zealand Ltd and highly recommend them for their quality work, professionalism, efficiency and cost.

CMNZ were central to the outstanding success of this international anaesthetic meeting undertaken in November 2011. The organising committee and delegates were overwhelmed by the professionalism, dedication and high standards of delivery that CMNZ achieved. Compliments were received from both national and international delegates on the high quality and attention to detail that was shown in this meeting. All aspects of the meeting were considered and no request too difficult to achieve.

Undoubtedly this company has the inherent Kiwi 'can do' mentality and it was a pleasure to work alongside them.

As a committee we will be recommending CMNZ to undertake other meetings both here and overseas with our colleagues.

I wanted to write and formally thank you for your tremendous work with Convention Management New Zealand during and around the recent ISSLS conference. As you know, I have been delighted with the administrative side of the meeting. We have had phenomenal feedback from all of the international delegates who really seemed to have a great time. The meeting ran without a hitch thanks to your expertise. The social and recreational programme was superb.

As I have indicated in the past, the praise heaped directly upon me by many of the international delegates was amazing and, of course, all of this really comes back to you and your team's superb organisation.

I wanted to put these feelings down on paper. I have no doubt that we will have the opportunity to work together in the future and I am very happy to act as a reference for anyone seeking an independent view of the services that you provide.

The Street flags are down, the marquee is gone from the carpark, the Wellington Convention Centre and Duxton Hotel have already run several other events and Pusan in Korea has commenced planning for the 8th IDFWPR Congress to be held in 2010.

What remains now is for the organisers to offer a very genuine thanks to the many people who assisted in making the 7th IDFWPR Congress a major sucess for the stakeholders, the delegates, for Wellington and for the 70 million people of the region affected with Diabetes.

To all of the CMNZL team a very big thank you. We would not have got there without you.

Over two years ago when I was trying to choose convention managers I had little knowledge with respect to the running of meetings or who the personnel were in the comminity. I consider myself very lucky to have chosen your team in the running of our meeting.

I could go through each individual event and tell you how pleased we were with the way they were run but essentially I would be repeating the same thing in saying that we were extremely pleased with the way that all the acitivities including the scientific programme, social events, presidential programme and sporting events were run.

I would have no hesitation in recommending your company to any organisation who has a conference in the NZ area. I am sure the NZOA's conferences are in safe hands in the near future and hope you have a long association with our organisation.

I am writing this letter of reference in my capacity as the Convenor of the 2010 Distance Education Association of New Zealand (DEANZ) conference. DEANZ has used the services of Convention Management New Zealand Ltd (CMNZ) to manage our last two conferences in 2008 and 2010. The venue of both events was Te Papa, Wellington and they were outstanding conferences.

I can honestly say that the conferences would not have been so successful in terms of overall organisation and from a delegate perspective without CMNZ’s expert assistance, attention to detail and careful stewardship throughout the planning process. Indeed, without their input and wealth of experience we could have made some expensive mistakes in the planning and design of these events.

Thus, I cannot speak highly enough of the contribution that Dean Bradley and the CMNZ team made to the success of the DEANZ conference. Put simply we could not have planned, managed or hosted these events without the fantastic support we received from CMNZ. Their professionalism and level of commitment throughout the conference was truly outstanding. We could not have asked for more.

In summary, I would have no hesitation in recommending CMNZ to other organisations wishing to use professional conference management services. Based on our experience you will not be disappointed by selecting CMNZ to manage your event.

On behalf of the organising committee of the 36th SGATAR meeting I would like to express our thanks to you for your assistance with orgainsing the meeting. Your efforts in assisting the committee were crucial to the sucessful running of the meeting. We were all extremely inpressed with your hard work, organisation, patience and perseverance before and during the meeting. Being able to tap into your knowledge and experience of venues, transport, systems and suppliers was an enormous benefit to us in the lead up to the meeting and paid significant dividends in the smooth running of the meeting itself.

I wish to put on record my gratitude for your role in the success of the recent ISSVD meeting in Auckland and Queenstown. You acted in an extremely relaxed friendly but professional manner and we achieved all of our goals with minimum stress!

Thank you all very much for the sterling efforts made by you on behalf of the Society and the Branch in putting together the conference. For those of you who could not make the conference you missed an excellent couple of days. Overall the feedback given to me has been very positive.

A special thanks too to Paul and the team at CMNZL. You guys made everything look so easy. The little things that needed attending to on the day, and there are always are few, were handled very well (often anticipated I might add) and with a minimum of fuss. Your contribution was fantastic and very much appreciated.

I wanted to write to you both to pass on the thanks of all the International Team at New Zealand Post for the fantastic results that you achieved at the APPU Congress in Auckland. The event was an amazing success and we have received very positive feedback from a number of delegates.

Please accept my thanks and congratulations on running a sucessful meeting for ISSLS recently. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you and your team over the last couple of years and I'm sure you would have received a lot of positive feedback from registrants during the week. I'm sure it will be remembered as one of the best, if not the best meeting we have held. Please pass on my sincere thanks to all of the staff who made it happen.

I want to sincerely thank you for the tremendous job you did in the planning and implementation of our recent Postgraduate Course, in Auckland and World Congress of the ISSVD, in Queenstown.

It is without doubt that your knowledge of the area and experience in the field assured that each aspect of the event would be most appropriate.

Your attention to detail ensured that everything, from the registration process, to the execution of the program, right on through to the follow up, was first rate. The liaison between your office and the ISSVD headquarters was both efficient and timely, making our part of the process seamless and trouble-free.

It is evident from the positive comments received from our Fellows, who have attended many such events; that this was one of, if not the most, successful meeting we have had.
It would be my honor and pleasure to have the opportunity to work with you on future endeavors.

Sincerely,

Debbie Roepe

Chris Darlow and all of us at the New Zealand Law Society would like to express our warmest congratulations to the directors and staff of Convention Management for all of your hard work in making the IBA conference in Auckland such a wonderful success.

We know the huge amount of planning, effort and stress that go into putting together conferences, and this one, in New Zealand terms, was the mother of all conferences! The obvious enjoyment of all of the delegates and guests, and the smooth running of the enormously complex programme and the social functions (especially New Zealand night) is a credit to all of you and reflects very well on New Zealand as a whole.

Thank you - we are very grateful.

Alan Ritchie & Margaret Bryson

Executive Director and Senior Director
New Zealand Law Society

From our initial contact in the conference planning stages right through to conference end Convention Management demonstrated total professionalism, dedication to make our conference the wonderful success it was. With their focus on the administration side of conference organising which included delegate registration, venue and trade displays negotiation and financial management, allowed the organising committee to focus on the programme development and delivery. It has been a pleasure working with Convention Management and would highly recommend their services to other conference committees.

Conference Convenor

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you personally and most sincerely for your efforts as PCO for the ARMS Conference. The conference was an unqualified success thanks to your efforts and good planning. It surpassed the high standard expected of ARMS annual conferences and in addition achieved some notable firsts, including generous sponsorship from both NZ and Australian bodies, modest registration fees, significant “profit” which will seed other ARMS initiatives and a very professional, well serviced event in an excellent venue, amongst many others. Your experience was invaluable and gave a most professional air to the event. Please thank your staff who all responded to delegates requirements with pleasantness and efficiency. The outcome speaks volumes for your attention to detail and innovative measures.

I would like to convey to yourself and the Convention Management staff my sincere thanks for the incredible amount of work carried out over the last eight years in helping secure and organise the congress and for finally bringing things to a most successful conclusion. The mechanics of organising this congress was a mammoth task and could not have been achieved without the understanding and systems that Convention Management provided.

I have just taken part in OZ Talk New Zealand and would like to congratulate you upon what appeared to me to be impeccable organisation and management for the entire period of the gathering. To handle such large numbers in this manner requires a great deal of skill and I congratulate you.

The coordination of all the disability services in addition to the day-to-day running of this world congress required a degree of professionalism that we have not encountered before, anywhere in the world. Throughout the two weeks we were in Auckland there was not a time that we needed an answer, or a set of directions, or equipment, that we were not able to reach a representative of Convention Management who dealt with our request quickly and efficiently. Our thanks and congratulations.
